I was taught by Brian Starkey at Sutton College of Liberal Arts after my interest in modern sculpture was matched by my brother-in-law studying and working with ceramics.
I make sculptural work for a domestic setting. My inspirations are eclectic and include jigsaws, abstract sculpture, landscape and furniture. I work with a rolled out slabs of clay, cut, assembled, modelled and patterned. Some work includes wood, wire and other materials.
Firing methods include wood-firing and raku.
