When I lived in the new Forest area, my Nan took me to pottery classes and I absolutely loved it. I haven’t stopped working with clay since and worked in an industrial pottery in Poole during the 1980s.
I now live in Scotland and after studying at the Moray College, I joined the Findhorn Pottery. We work with reduction fired stoneware and make domestic ware as well as decorative and sculptural pieces.
Nature is what inspires my work I also introduce the subtle energies, which can’t be seen, but which can be felt, using my imagination. This gives my work a spiritual aspect of magic, fantasy and intrigue.
