Kyley Campbell graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, in 2005. Based in her workshop in Perth, Scotland, she creates a wide range of contemporary jewellery inspired by natural forms and her love of colour.
Kyley specialises in sterling silver and hand dyed anodised aluminium. All findings are sterling silver. Each piece is created with the utmost care and attention to detail using piercing and photo-etching techniques on flat sheet silver and anodised aluminium. The aluminium has previously undergone a process called anodising. This process is carried out using an electric current, opening up pores in the metal which then holds the dye. Using a variety of colours and shades Kyley paints on the dyes by hand and then seals them. The anodised aluminium will retain the vibrant colours unless left in direct sunlight for a long period of time.
