Hello! Would you like to exhibit with us? We’re always happy to receive submissions from new Artists and Craftspeople. We champion exciting and interesting work from artists at all stages in their career, working in all media – from the Highlands of Scotland, but also from the rest of the UK and beyond.
To make a submission, please use the form below. Please note that it may take us several weeks to review and reply to your submission (especially at times of exhibition changeover). We will endeavour to be in touch as soon as we can. You might wish to read our Submission Notes before submitting. You’ll also be interested in this blog post – ‘Advice to Artists, From a Gallery Director’ – it may be interesting if you’re an artist who is new to working with galleries (or even if you’re a regular exhibitor and just wish to find out more about our particular ethos and methodology).
Please be aware that making a submission does not guarentee acceptance to exhibit with us – there are many reasons why we may or may not invite an artist to exhibit, almost none of them about whether we personally like or dislike your work – we’ve explained more about this in the blog post linked above.
If you wish to check on the progress of an Artist Submission which you have previously submitted, please use the contact form here (but please make sure you’ve allowed us at least two weeks before following up your submission).
If you wish to apply to exhibit with Inchmore Gallery, please use this form. Please send us your Artist Statement and up to 8 images showing examples of your work.
In addition to a link to your website, you may wish to link us to other online artist profiles, your Instagram account, Facebook page or other places online where we can see examples of your work and your artistic practices.
Please send us your current Artist Statement (if you have one) and up to 8 images of your work.
Images should be representative of your work at the current time (the work you’d be likely to present to us for exhibition, if selected to do so). It isn’t helpful for us to see images of older work / sold work that’s not representative of the work you have available for exhibition at present (older styles, past commissions, etc). Likewise if you are looking for a venue to exhibit a particular line of work you produce, it’s not necessary to show us other work you produce that you would not be looking to exhibit (e.g. please don’t send us pictures of your jewellery if you wish us to consider exhibiting your paintings only). If invited to exhibit, we would not expect the exact pieces shown in these images to be available for exhibition – we can discuss what you might have available to us at such time as you are invited to exhibit.
Please ensure you let us know if you exhibit / work under a name other than the one given in the submission form (a trading name, artists alias, maiden name, etc).
Please also let us know where else you currently / regularly exhibit.
If you have any queries in advance of submitting, please just drop us a line.
